Lucas James Xavier Kolasa is an artist with the desire to make the world a better place through art.

He co-founded Eunoia Gallery in order to do just that.

Creating art, organizing events and donating proceeds to charities such as: the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Doctors Without Borders, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society etc. As the gallery grew, the focus turned to children with Rare Diseases.  Lucas was given a humanitarian and artistic achievement award, by the Quinnipiac University of Medicine, in the February of 2017. Every day, Lucas makes the mission statement (Making the World a Better Place Through Art) a reality.

Juror's Statement:

LJXK; "Lizard Man"

"Creative use of the medium for a standard form as well as the decorative application. High level of skill in use of surface texture." Wickford Art Association All media Show, April 10- May 3 2015 1st Place Juror: Dennis Sirrine Juror's Statement: LJXK; "Giraffe" "This piece popped off the canvas and put a big smile on my face. Drawn closer to the surface one discovers the artist's unique application of paint which gives it a 3-dimensionality, begging to reveal the painting process, popping against a flatter yet still painterly blue sky."
